OVERVIEW
Our health care clients benefit from the team of Lincoln Policy Group (LPG) experts comprised of former senior government policymakers that were directly involved in the development and passage of significant health care legislation for decades on Capitol Hill. LPG has helped our clients achieve numerous legislative wins and, perhaps as important, block legislation that would adversely impact their business or practice. We assist clients in developing effective strategy and tactics, drafting advocacy materials most likely to influence policymakers, tracking and summarizing congressional hearings and activity, and gathering actionable intelligence to ensure our clients are a step ahead of their competitors.
LEGISLATIVE TEAM
Our bipartisan team leverages our years of experience and vast network in Congress and across the Administration to advocate for our client’s priorities. Senator Blanche Lincoln brings with her the unique experience of having served as a member of the Senate Finance Committee (SFC) when it passed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA). Senator Lincoln also previously served on the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
The LPG health care team has and unmatched breadth of health care expertise, specializing in Medicare, commercial, and Medicaid policy. We currently represent clients impacted by efforts to address drug pricing and surprise medical bills, reform post-acute care payment and delivery, improve access to MA plans, treatment programs for opioid abuse, and obtain coverage for new products and services. In addition to designing legislative advocacy strategies, our team helps clients navigate emerging policy issues at CMS, including the annual payment rule cycle, and coordinates and attends meetings on Capitol Hill, including clients “fly-ins.”
